Steven M. Gleason was born in New Jersey and raised in Wisconsin. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He then attended DePaul University College of Law School in Chicago graduating in 1980. He was sworn in as a licensed attorney in Illinois State Courts in 1980 and Federal Courts that same year and has been a practicing trial attorney for over 30 years. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and has been a member of the Federal Trial Bar since 1984.
Mr. Gleason has concentrated his practice in trial litigation handling numerous jury trials throughout Northern Illinois and the Federal Courts. His practice also has included many non-jury trials and arbitrations.
He began his practice representing clients on behalf of insurance companies and this has allowed him to better understand the thinking of the insurance companies and their attorneys.
