Personal Injury Attorney
Steven M. Gleason was born in New Jersey and raised in Wisconsin. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He then attended DePaul University College of Law School in Chicago graduating in 1980. He was sworn in as a licensed attorney in Illinois State Courts in 1980 and Federal Courts that same year and has been a practicing trial attorney for over 30 years. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and has been a member of the Federal Trial Bar since 1984.
Mr. Gleason has concentrated his practice in trial litigation handling numerous jury trials throughout Northern Illinois and the Federal Courts. His practice also has included many non-jury trials and arbitrations.
He began his practice representing clients on behalf of insurance companies and this has allowed him to better understand the thinking of the insurance companies and their attorneys. This has proven especially helpful in cases involving questions of insurance coverage or wrongful behavior by insurance company employees.
For the last two decades he has represented only the interests of people who have been wrongfully killed or seriously injured through the fault of individuals and corporations. He represents people who have suffered personal injuries of all types, including those in automobile accidents, trucking accidents, construction injuries and slip and fall cases. In the over 30 years of his practice he has handled many serious injuries but he still gives his personal attention to each client.
Steven M. Gleason will handle your case from the first sign-up through trial. The insurance companies know that if the case cannot settle a lawsuit will be filed and will proceed through trial, if necessary. This reputation often helps obtain the favorable settlement of cases early on without the need for years of litigation. He has fought against the insurance companies all the way to the Illinois Appellate Courts in the pursuit of justice for his clients. You can count on Steven M. Gleason to fight for you and your rights.
